Cairde Dolans’ aim is to support Seán Dolans GAC in their efforts to promote gaelic games, music, language and culture to members of both the local community but also those from outside the traditional backgrounds associated with the GAA. By organising and running fundraising efforts, Cairde Dolans can help sow that our young acorns may reap to become mighty oaks.

Cairde Dolans was established in 2023 to help Seán Dolans GAC to develop key areas of the club. Independent of the club, Cairde Dolans oversees, organises and runs the fundraising elements that is essential to the survival of any volunteer based sports/community organisation, some of which are below:

Bob McLaughlin is our Chairperson and ensures that everything within Cairde Dolans runs smoothly. He reports to the membership at the end of each year and gives an overview of the activities during that year.

Kevin Harley is our Secretary and acts as the go-between with Seán Dolans GAC, who identify key areas of development required within the club and asks Cairde Dolans to assist with the associated finances.

Emma Lynch is our Treasurer and she looks after the day-to-day transactions and crunches the numbers on any events that Cairde Dolans are organising and running.
